When You Feel Forgotten and Alone

When You Feel Forgotten and Alone

When is the last time you felt forgotten and alone? Have you ever felt like you could disappear, and no one would notice until they realized your responsibilities weren’t being taken care of? I know that I have felt this way at times.

Psalm 139:1-6 says, “You have searched me, LORD, and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”

Jesus knows us better than our mothers, fathers, spouses, friends, and even ourselves.

He never forgets about us.

He sees every detail.

When you feel as though the world has stomped all over your heart, Jesus is waiting for you to sit down by His feet, so He can minister to you.

Psalm 56:8 says, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.”

No tear that you have ever shed has gone unnoticed by Him. Praise Jesus that we have such a loving God who knows (and deeply cares about) every detail of our lives.

He sees you.

He wants you to know Him intimately.

Jesus knows what has deeply wounded your heart, and He wants to heal you. The Holy Spirit wants to comfort you.

Father, thank you for being so intimately involved in our lives. Thank you for caring so tenderly for our hearts. You know each tear that we shed and each situation that stings us that goes unnoticed by everyone else. You are an awesome God who is a perfect Lord, Savior, and best friend. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
